How to Downgrade my Nvidia Shield

Nvidia Shield v8.2.1

Hello and welcome to Devices (D3vicx). We specialize in customizing streaming devices. And our most popular device is the Nvidia Shield Pro 2019. We have noticed over the last year people have been having problems with the Android 11 update. It has slowed the device down by 20%, it takes away apps.

Some people are having problems with Kodi and Plex. Well, we had those problems and then we just downgraded back to v8.2.1. We tried v8.2.3 but it just didn’t work for our needs. We need the ads on the Home Screen gone as well. We wanted total control over the Nvidia Shield Pro.

We are offering to teach every for FREE how we Downgraded your Nvidia Shield Pro. We also blocked the update from popping up on the Home Screen. Then we stopped the Ads from showing up again. We went in on this device, turning on Dolby Atmos and remapping buttons. I can’t remember if the remapping of buttons is in the FREE Videos or not.

Either way, this video will stay Free until 2023. After that, it will be added to our Online Course: Jailbreak for Android from here on out. Or you can pay $50 to get the device rooted back down to v8.2.1.

Why are you Not on YouTube?

I get asked that question a lot. Well, I don’t own YouTube but I own this website. I’m not a fan of using Social Media platforms due to so many rules and making others rich. I needed a space to do videos and use the music I wanted to use without dealing with copyrighted stuff. I’m not selling the music just using it to make the videos better.

As I said, Devices (D3vicx) is putting this video out to you for 100% Free. I’m not even asking for your email address. Which, now that I think about it I should have. It’s about building trust really. I know how to do something and you want to learn it too, Cool. I’ll show you how I get it done.

You will need a few things first.

  1. I do this with a macOS laptop. So if you have windows you are SOL.

  2. You need a USB 2.0 to USB 2.0 cable, this is the one I got from Amazon. Link > No, I don’t get paid for this.

  3. I used a Shield Controller, I have no clue if anything else will work.

  4. You need a Developer account with Nvidia. Link >

This is for the Nvidia Shield Pros only. I don’t Jailbreak Nvidia Shield TVs, the tube, so I wouldn’t know how to Downgrade them. Now, if you want to block the Android 11 update from popping up, you can check out the videos for that part.

Once you are done with the Free videos. You can sign up for the Online Course: Jailbreak for Android, We should you how to load our Elite System onto your Nvidia Shield Pro giving you access to watch Free Live Sports and anything else in the world. And no this is NOT Free.

Will we do this for Me?

Yes & No.

If you got your Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Tv Pro from us, Yes. But you have to buy Device Care first, it’s Service Insurance for your device. If you bought your Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Tv Pro in the last 6 months, you are good to go.

Jailbreak for Android

If you didn’t get the device from us, then no we can’t at this time. It’s the Holidays and the price for shipping is up. We don’t want a lot of devices coming to us when we don’t know who the person is. At the same time, you don’t know much about us either.

Trust will need to be built. We are working on a drop-off, pick-up option for NYC. But more of that when we are set up in the new office. Should you ship your device to anyone to do this for you? No, try doing it on your own first. Get the couple of things you need and give it a go. Take your time don’t rush it.
