How to stop Nvidia Shield update

We here at D3vicx (devices) are still talking about the Nvidia Shield TV this month of June 2022. We are hoping to help as many people as possible fix the problems they are having with the update from Experience 9 Android 11. Like we already released our video on “How to remove Nvidia Shield update” on June 24th in our newsletter.

So this next video released is on Monday, June 27th, 2022. Exclusively to our newsletter subscribers. You will not find these videos on YouTube. This will be a clear walkthrough on how to stop and block your Nvidia Shield TV from updating. Today I’m going to share the first part with you through this blog. All the other ways will be in the video, “How to stop Nvidia Shield Update.”

Let’s get right into it. Have your Nvidia Shield on, doesn’t matter what model or year it is. Go right to the top over to Settings.

Click on Setting
Then down to Device Preferences
Click on About
Down to System Update
Turn off the Auto-Update button

This will be the best way to stop the automated updates. It’s not going to stop it from popping up at the top when you turn the Nvidia Shield back on. In the video dropping this Monday in our newsletter, we will show you step-by-step how to completely block the update to Android 11 from popping up on the Home Screen.

If you ever plan in the future, that you do want to update your device to Experience 9 Android 11, do these steps backward. We do recommend you to fully load up your Nvidia Shield Tv first. Once the Android 11 is on the Nvidia Shield Tv, the Shield won’t work the same. You will not be able to get into the deep part of the system.

From what I saw testing this out, the Deep Cleaners couldn’t get permission to get into the system to clean. And anyone who uses a DNS, we couldn’t get it onto the device at all.
