Bantamweight Championship Title Bout: Julianna Pena vs Amanda Nunes

Fight two and I must say this is going to be better than the first one. My main thoughts are the lasting effects of the covid19 virus that’s with Nunes. I noticed a lot of the fighters that had covid at one point are not doing too well at all. You can see the lasting effect of that virus on each person's body. Nunes has knock-out power and now she is just getting gassing out while still trying to knock you out.

Pena said Nunes always had bad cardio and having these lasting effects is not making it any better.

Pena messed up if you asked me. There is a bad rumour going around. That says Pena said Nunes is not a real mother because she didn’t give birth to the baby. I’m hoping this is just a bad rumour and true. Either way, I do see Nunes coming in there to really finish Pena in the old fashion way of a shocking knockout. If that happens clearly we will forget the first fight and wait for fight three with these two ladies.

My pick is Nunes getting this title back.

Flyweight Interim Title Bout: Brandon Moreno vs Kia Kara France 2

Fight two for Moreno and Kara France as well. I know Moreno won the first time these guys fought. I can’t say Moreno is going to get the win in this second fight. Kara France has improved so much since the last time these two met in the octagon. You can see the knockout power of Kara France in his most recent fights. He is just going in there for the kill, no more feeling people out. Moreno has had three amazing fights but I thought he lost the third fight and it was going to be the fourth one on the way with Figueiredo. I don’t think it’s going to be a fourth fight with Figueiredo vs Moreno.

My pick for this one is Kia Kara France.

This young man is just putting it on people. He is looking to feed his family, buy a house, and be the best Flyweight in the world. I know Moreno has better takedowns and in the last fight, he won. We learn more from our losses than our wins. Either way good luck to both of these men.

Flyweight Bout: Alexandre Pantoja vs Alex Perez

Yes, we picked this fight another Flyweight bout over the Derek Lewis fight. Sorry, I believe Lewis is done with fighting.

Pantoja is just too exciting to watch, man I love this kid. Very exciting fighting and hungry, it’s been his time for a while now. He has wins over both Moreno and Kara France at Flyweight. Pantoja beat Moreno twice if I’m not mistaken. Pantoja was the number one seed on TUF for the Flyweights season.

I don’t know much about Perez but I watched his highlights. This is a big guy for 125 pounds, how does he do it? He also has great boxing and speed. So this is not going to be an easy fight for no one. Pantoja has a better ground game than Perez, no doubt about it. I think this will be the difference if Pantoja can get on Perez's back. I can’t get over how big Perez is and fights at Flyweight. When you see this guy he looks like a Bantamweight fighter easily.

My pick is still Alexandra Pantoja, it’s his time and I see him picking up this win to fight for the Flyweight Title next.
