Best Router Replacements with Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E

When looking for a router on Amazon you want to have two main factors. One, your budget, and Two, that the router is Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E. Keep your budget in mind, you made one for a reason. This is a so-called sale, so try to save your TIME.

Don’t waste too much of your valuable TIME looking for a router on a budget. We have been looking at routers for years now so we can tell you the best brands, and the pretty good ones.

You thought I was going to say save money. I’m all about how much time are we paying out to shop. It’s a router, not a new home.

For the Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, you can easily filter that part out in the search bar. You can also check out YouTube Videos to see how people feel about 6E. Do you need Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E?

Let’s talk about the Elephant in the room. Do you really even need Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E?

To me, it sounds like another way to get money from your pocket. But in reality, too many damn people are working from home still.

This is slowing your internet down. Think about it. If you are in New York City and your building is filled with 600 other apartments, your internet is going to be running pretty damn slow. Most of the people will be on Wi-Fi 5 GHz.

Some smart people would have already made the jump to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. That’s if their devices are even compatible with Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E. Most people will still be on Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz. Which is not a bad idea. If you have devices that need to stay hooked up to Wi-Fi all the time and don’t need high-powered Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz may be a great option.

Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz stays connected the longest and can pass through walls. Say you have a Google Home just hook it up to the Wi-Fi 2.4GHz. No need to slow down Wi-Fi 5 GHz on a device that doesn’t need it.

Then before updating to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E are the devices you are even using compatible? I can tell you none of my devices are compatible with Wi-Fi 6E for sure. I’m not too sure about Wi-Fi 6.

If your stuff is not compatible just upgrade to a better Wi-Fi 5 GHz Router and take that out-of-date Wi-Fi Router mess back to your Internet Provider. This will at least help improve the Wi-Fi in your home and for the Jailbroken Device you picked up from us here at Devices (D3vicx).

The Best Premium TV Streaming Devices

Which Premium TV Streaming Device is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 or even Wi-Fi 6E? At the moment if I were to guess, the Nvidia Shield TV Pro could possibly go on Wi-Fi 6. The Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation most likely Wi-Fi 6E.

So I just used Bard to help me answer these questions. Bard let me know that Wi-Fi 6 came out in 2019 but it was after the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 was already released. Can you imagine how amazing that would have been the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 with Wi-Fi 6 possibilities?

I asked Bard about the Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation. Bard told me the Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 but not with Wi-Fi 6E.

I feel like these streaming devices are just missing the Wi-Fi upgrades by a hair.

Bard let me know that Wi-Fi 6E is not yet widely available and only a small number of streaming devices offer it.

We all know the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max is Wi-Fi 6E compatible. The same old problems wrapped up in a pretty bow is the 2023 Fire TV Stick 4K Max. People are waiting to see if software updates will fix the problems.

In Conclusion

Upgrading to the newest stuff is not always that urgent. It takes time for new tech to roll out.

Then on top of that, it’s crazy expensive when they are first. Once the rest of the market catches up, prices start to even out better in our favor.

Plus you also get to see what was a great investment and what was just hype.
