The Plot of Ammonite

My thoughts on Ammonite are very different from the ones I have read online so far. I see it through the eyes of being a lesbian all my life and coming across newer lesbians or bisexual women and men.

I believe this gives you a real insight into how things first start out when something like this is happening to you and this movie stands out from the crowd of other Lesbian movies completely. 

Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan have amazing chemistry and it’s really going to be hard to top these two in a lesbian love story from here on out. But that is also the key point to this movie that I noticed, the words are very short and straight to the point. They deal in more action and body language due to the demur personality of Mary (Kate Winslet), who seems to suffer from social anxiety and is a big introvert. 

Now Saoirse is clearly a beautiful younger woman but this movie highlights Kate Winslet completely.

She is a drop-dead gorgeous woman in this, and her body is phenomenal. Both women are very brave to put themselves out there like this to tell this story. My greatest love of this movie, no one ever says the phrase, “I love you.” 

The whole movie is about the actions of being in love with someone or falling in love, and how they can bring you to life. My hat goes off to these ladies and hopefully, more people will see it for what it is, Incredibly outspoken in actions LGBT film.
