Where to Watch AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door

What is good everyone, thanks for stopping by? Let’s talk AEW and NJPW wrestling with their first-ever combined Pay-Per-View Forbidden Door. Now I’m not going to sit here and say I love New Japan wrestling. One, I never watched NJPW before. I really didn’t know of it until 2018. I thought it was only WWE in the world after the Monday Night Wars of the 90s.

As a kid, I saw WWE buy out all their competition in the US. I didn’t have the internet around that time so I could only base anything on what I saw on the TV. And no, my mom didn’t get the newspaper that I can remember. So jumping to 2018, I can’t really remember how I can across New Japan. Maybe it had something to do with Cody Rhodes, who really knows.

And No, I not watching WWE. I pretty much stopped after Sasha Banks won the Tag Team Titles. I was over it by then, the best wrestler in the world is put in yet another damn Tag Team. Besides the point, I have since clicked on the New Japan product but haven’t really seat down to watch it. Even that amazing match I hear about with Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.

This is pretty funny, I never saw Omega wrestle but I took people’s word he was the best in the world. I agree even more now that I’ve been watching him for a few years now, well the best male wrestler in the world. Sasha / Mercedes is the best wrestler / Superstar in both men’s and women’s wrestling. I don’t care if you don’t agree but you can leave your comments below and I will tell you which matches to go watch.

I clearly love wrestling, I’ve been watching since I was 3-years-old. I’m super excited about the AEW / NJPW Forbidden Door Pay-Per-Views. I think overall this is going to be one of the biggest Pay-Per-Views this year. I keep hearing about this guy they call “The Rain Maker”, I saw a few clips but I’m waiting to really see this guy in action. Pretty much I’m looking forward to this whole card. Even with all the injuries, this gives some of the younger guys “that time to shine.”

Match Card:

Interim AEW World Title Match, Jon Moxley vs Hiroshi Tanahashi

I have thoughts on this one. It could go either way, Jon Moxley win the Title again but have it with fans in the audience this Title Rain. Or give it to a top NJPW guy Hiroshi Tanahashi and have him back and forth in the promotions. This is a hard one. I see the future of CM Punk battling Hiroshi Tanahashi for the AEW Title. I think it gives CM Punk more edge to face Hiroshi Tanahashi as he gets closers to retiring. Why not face off against some badasses from NJPW. I love it, hopefully, this way will happen.

Fatal 4 Way for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title, Kazuchika Okada vs. Adam Cole vs. Adam Page vs. Jay White (C)

Who thought of this as a Fatal 4 Way, you are pulling out all the guns in this one. Now Jay White just won the Title off of Kazuchika Okada's “The Rain Maker” not that long ago. No one sees this Title changing hands just yet unless Adam Cole “Bay Bay” got something to say about that. This would set up a match with the Bullet Club against The Undisputed Elite. Who really knows how this will play out but I can’t wait to watch.

IWGP United States Heavyweight Title Match, Will Ospreay (C) vs Orange Cassidy

This will be an interesting one for sure. NJPW has a United States Heavyweight Champ that’s not in the match. He is holding the title hostage. Which I think is great, he wants this to be a first contender match to face him. Who is he? Juice Robinson of the Bullet Club that’s who. I’m not sure what happened to him but there was a match and Will Ospreay became the new champ so we thought. How did the Fresh Orange Squeez get pulled into all of this? The greatness that how, you coming to AEW you got to face the man, Orange Cassidy, who needs some gold on him.
