With your own box, you can use Cloudflare DNS to give yourself privacy. Using their router/modem, you can no longer change the IP Addresses on those boxes.

This is how they block your streaming on third-party applications. With the Cloudflare DNS, they can't see anything therefore they can't block anything. There is however a drawback to Cloudflare DNS. It blocks out updates, you need to turn it off to update then turn it back on. So check out a VPN instead. You can easily update using one of them. We only recommend IPVANISH because it works on all devices even the Apple TV! No other VPN will work better.

Mesh Networking System, what is it, and should I have one?

How far does Wi-Fi travel?

This information shocked me the most. The highest Wi-Fi like 6E doesn’t travel far at all and even more it doesn’t pass through walls too well.

Shockly 2.4GHz travels the farthest and through walls without any problems. When you go up to 5GHz it starts to break up when trying to go through the wall.

So you can only imagine 6 and 6E is not going through a wall at all. Don’t even waste your time and try. When you get to 6 and 6E, your Internet needs help and this is where the Mesh Networking System comes into hand.
