Do you need a Mesh System?
The question of the week is do you need a Mesh System in your home to help you control all your devices? The answer is YES, you do badly! It’s 2024 and we have more devices using WiFi now than we ever had before.
Now we are talking about one great Mesh System that works like the satellites that surround the earth kind of technology. Not that other bs stuff they try to sell you. I stand behind this item because I use it all the time. These are the same Mesh System that is used to Fully Loaded up the D3vicx that come out to all of you.
The reason for the Mesh System is so it doesn’t slow down your Modem nor Router by having too many devices linked. Also, this helps when it comes to picking 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, the Mesh System is so great it knows what works best for each device. You put them around the house and pretty much this evens out the WiFi signal for everyone.
The Mesh System I’m talking about takes it to the next level, by offering you the option to assign each person their own password without knowing the real one to your Router. And then if you want to kick them off just delete their password and they are off. I had an Airbnb problem once when this young girl booked for just 2 people but because you had to sign into my Mesh System I could tell off the bat how many people were really there, they all signed into my Mesh System. With this Mesh System I get everyone’s name that was attached to their iPhone, so when I put in my complaint I just screenshot the system information. (I DON’T recommend Airbnb!)
This Great Mesh System is Plume (plume.com), now this is NOT an affiliate blog. I’m not being paid and the link is right to their home page. Now here at D3vicx, we have been using Plume for years to load up these devices and it’s never slowed down the Router. There are so many devices you can connect to Plume it’s mind-blowing and you control everything through an app. When your internet is down, Plume lets you know and when it comes back it also lets you know. Now they just added motion detection and I have a friend that’s crazy about this one. They have WiFi 6, who else has that right now? You also have cybersecurity, it’s crazy how to advance this system is. And I have the old ones with the 1 Super Plume and 2 smalls Pllumes.
