ALL Streaming Boxes SUCK Now, Do they really?
I ran across a video with this title just a few minutes ago and Let’s Crack On was reading a blog he found with this title. I wish the guy who wrote the blog was more clear from the start. When you use a title like All Streaming Boxes Suck Now, let’s start by saying which ones they are. We here at Devices (D3vicx) program all kind of streaming boxes so let us help you clear up this confusion.
They are talking about budget-friendly streaming boxes. Of course, they suck, they are cheap as hell to make so the company needs to make some money back off of them. Bigger streaming boxes like the Nvidia Shield Pro and Apple Tv clearly do not fall into this. They can be customized, unlike the cheaper streaming boxes.
Let’s talk about why you don’t want to buy a cheap streaming box. First, yes you are saving money but in the long run, that cheap streaming box will slow down after the first update. Firesticks are legendary when it comes to this. For Roku, I don’t even believe they can be sideloaded. Then the Google Tv with the Android 12 update, system is too much for the Google Tv HD version of this device. When sideloading you have to be really careful what you do sideload because you are working with only 4.32 gigabytes of space. And trust you want to leave at least 1 GB free for the RAM.
He next moves on to say the Home Screens are full of apps and ads. Which they are, you can’t get around them nor customized the Home Screen. This is a big reason I stopped using the Firestick and tossed it in the trash. The Home Screen is a mess and I just couldn’t with it anymore.

What are the Best Streaming Boxes to buy?

It’s only 2 out there, don’t let anyone tell you differently. If you want to control your Home Screen and customized it to the fullest. Have the content on the Home Screen and you can go right to it. Plus have video gaming systems these are the only 2 streaming boxes on the market that can do this.
First, regarding the Nvidia Shield Tv Pro 2019, please be aware I’m talking about the Android 9 version 8.2.1. What makes the Nvidia Shield Pro the best device on the market is that it can be downgraded to any version you want it to. The Nvidia website has all the downgrades for each Pro. From there you can use RetroArch or Hyperspin to play video games and use an SSD card to host the games. You can sideload the hell out of this box and add the content to the Home Screen. The photos of this is my personal Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Tv Pro. I recommend the Xbox controller or PlayStation 5 controller.
My favorite IPAs for the Apple Tv
Second, the Apple Tv 4K 3rd Generation at 128GB, you are in good shape. Yes, these can be sideloaded as well. I have like 2 versions of Kodi on my Jailbroken Apple Tv 4K and a whole lot of other IPAs on the device. No, this is not the kind of load you have to do every 7 days. We have gone past that at this point in 2023. Please remember when dealing with Apple you do pay a small developer fee each year for the sideload. But the return is just amazing. Free Movies, Tv Series, Live Sports, and more than you are adding on RetroArch. You will need your computer to add the games to play. It’s a few more gaming systems and Sarfi. I do recommend the Playstation 5 controller for the Apple Tv.

I follow a lot of the YouTubers that post and talk about the Firesticks still but I don’t use nor recommend them anymore. My team and I have developed to building system onto the devices and truthfully the Fire TVs can’t handle our Elite System. The Google Tv 4K can barely handle the Elite System, which is why it has its own smaller version of the Elite.
