How in the Hell are Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal headline UFC 272 with 0-3 between the both of them? I guest they are very popular guys and exciting fighters hands down. This fight has to happen for a few reasons, Covington and Masvidal want to fight each other. They both have 2 losses to Usman so this is clearly not for a title shot. Will Jorge Masvidal be able to get his hands on Colby Covington as he wants, maybe? I don’t see it happening Colby just pushes forwards and comes at you. We will see, I’m a big fan of “Gamebread” but I know he needs to improve his training. Try a new coach, see what that person can bring to your arsenal.
I’m also really hopefully Masvidal beats the bricks off of Covington.
UFC 272: Dos Anjos vs Moicano
RDA vs Rafael Fiziev is not happening, Fiziev has tested positive for Covid. RDA had a chance to fight Islam Makhachev once and for all with their beef they have with each other. The fight with Islam Makhachev would have been at 170 pounds.
Renato Moicano is stepping in to take this fight at 160 pounds. Which is not smart of Moicano if he really is at 180 pounds right now. That’s 4 days to lose 20 pounds, wish Moicano turned down this fight. Anyways Rafael Dos Anjos vs Renato Moicano at a catchweight of 160 pounds, my pick is RDA. I think RDA picked the easier fight this time.
UFC 272: Barboza vs Mitchell
Hello Mr. Arkansas, let’s see if you can get a twister on Barboza. I have a lot of new and upcoming young fighters, “Thug Nasty” happens to be in my top 3 guys. Thumbs up to you Bryce Mitchell for being ranked and keep doing it your way. We all have seen Edson Barboza has been around for years and at one point never lost a fight, wtf happened.
Barboza has the best leg kicks in UFC and MMA put together. With that alone he should have been a UFC Champion by now, I’m just saying. Good luck to these two gentlemen come March 5th and my pick is Bryce Mitchell in this fight.
UFC 272: Holland vs Oliveira
Kevin Holland, Mr. 5 wins in 2020, and a bad year in 2021 came down a weight class. Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira has been around for years at 155 pounds. This is going to be very exciting, I see these two stand up and throw bombs at each other. If Oliveira wants to make a run at the title this would be a great place to start. Taking out Holland and putting together a few more wins to at least be ranked. I can’t wait to see this one, my fresh popcorn will be ready.
UFC 272: Spivac vs Hardy
Do you see it? These two guys trying to take each others heads off. This is a great fight to start adding in some other skills for both guys Serghei Spivac and Greg Hardy. I noticed Greg Hardy had been adding in low kicks, very smart now try some (fakes) to see what the other will do. I’m thinking of what GSP said, you have to train somewhere new and try new things to stay healthy. Hardy last loss was nasty but keep going. It’s hard to say who will get this one, we all will wait and see.
