The show is based on the three most popular characters from the iconic movie. The catcher Geena Davis character and the duo of Madonna’s and Rosie O’Donnell’s characters. Everyone is renamed in this series.
Man, is there a plot twist here? I always thought Lori Petty's character from the movies was a little gay.
The story starts with Carlson the catcher, running to catch her train to Chicago and jumping over a fence, priceless. She’s stopped by people she knows from the town. Carlson is being totally polite, trying to end their chat so she can catch her train.
Carlson is this hot mess of a housewife on who the series is based. Greta, first basemen, seems to be this fearless beauty. They meet on the street of Chicago looking for Wrigley Field for the tryouts. Greta with her outgoing personality already seems to be undressing Carlson with her eye. The sexual tension there is high with these ladies within seconds of meeting.
Fast forward to making the team and moving into the house. On a night the girls go out dancing, Greta tells Carlson she needs to tell her something. They go into a back room and lock the door behind them. That's when Greta moves back towards the wall while pulling Carlson in for their first kiss of the series. You want to talk about a cliffhanger. My mouth is still wide open.

From here I will not spoil anything else. This series is a must-see to believe it. For A League of Their Own Series, I’m about to pop kettle popcorn and watch this again.
