One day we decided to up our game and start jailbreaking all devices on the market today even the popular Apple TV 4K 2022. Hello and welcome, really fast what we do here is sideload Apple TV 4Ks ourselves for you. I don’t want people to have false hope of this blog teaching you to load your Apple TV 4K step-by-step.
It’s 2024, and it’s just so many ways to load an Apple TV.
I know a lot of the older ways we did it back in 2016 no longer work for us. Like Xcode, but that may work for you. When searching online you are looking to get IPAs onto the device. Here is another problem you could run into and that is if you don’t have a paid developer account with Apple. That means every 7 days you will have to reload the IPAs onto the Apple TV.
This could be a little pain in the butt. As I think of this even more, I think you need an Apple TV that plugs into your MacBook. Again this is why we Jailbreak Apple TV 4Ks for people and then send them off.
We only have one way to Jailbreak Apple TV 4K but it involves our Elite System. It is a customized launcher with 40 IPAs that gives you access to paid TV entertainment for free. This will work anywhere in the world as long as you have internet.
With that said, please don’t rush out and buy an overpriced Apple TV 4K 128GB, thinking we are giving you a step-by-step guide. We are not, we are giving you ideas of how you can sideload the device yourself without our Elite System. The Apple TVs are $150 here in the US.
A big problem most people will run into is what tvOS you are using. But unless the device is in my hands this is just off the top of my head stuff that I can see in my mind working. The only way to really know, is for me to physically try it myself on the Apple TV you are working with. For us, our way of loading Apple TVs is much easier but the device needs to run tvOS 15 and up.
Anything before that I can’t guarantee.

What are your biggest fears about owning a Jailbroken Apple TV 4K?
We don’t break that easily
The Jailbroken Apple TV will just stop working and I won’t know why. The Jailbroken Apple TV will update and mess up the jailbreak. I don’t know what to do if anything goes wrong.
Well, I have great news. This Jailbroken Apple TV will not just stop working on you.
These are sideloaded apps you can’t find in the App Store but they still work just like normal apps do. If your Apple TV updates, it will not erase any of the sideloaded apps on the device, so please rest your mind with that.
The good news is, that if an app feels like it’s not working right, it’s a sign to update the app. These are little things we put into our video manual so you are aware just in case. If anything goes wrong, you can check the video manual videos first. Can’t find an answer there, contact us right away.
Discord will be best so we can help you out right then and there. But it mostly falls into two issues, the app needs to be updated or you need to turn on your free DNS for the app to work without being blocked from your internet provider.

Locked in Apple’s ecosystem on the Apple TV 4K?

How is it being locked in Apple’s ecosystem? I know a ton of people prefer Apple TV due to its ecosystem, which is why it is so popular. Being able to jailbreak the Apple TV is even more popular. The cons of the ecosystem, you are not able to sideload modified IPAs on the devices freely. It takes Xcode, third-party sites, and signatures to get it done.
In 2024 we are no longer jailbreaking Apple devices, it’s not needed. You can easily sign up for an Apple developer account for I think $100 a year and just sideload third-party IPAs onto the Apple TV. If you are really good at this you can get three Kodi’s onto the device like we can.
Kodi 19.5, Kodi 20.5, and Kodi 21, along with Popcorn Time which is super popular. Kodi is mostly used for Live TV, Sports, and PPVs. On an Apple TV, use the Kodi Music section because there is no modified version of Spotify, Pandora, or YouTube Music for the Apple TV yet.
I want to toss in the not yet because as time passes more and more new IPAs are being made for the Apple TV 4K. Right now a very popular store that is used is Altstore. I haven’t tried Altstore myself before but it’s very recommend online.

The big downside of having an Apple TV 4K is not having a free Apple TV Plus subscription. I think that is weird and it confuses a lot of people who buy the product.
I remember the promotion was a free Apple TV Plus subscription when you bought a brand new Apple TV 4K but I don’t recall for how long it was.
Still, most people are confused as to why Apple TV Plus is not free on the device. My best answer is, that it’s Apple, they want your money. Just joking.
But really all streaming devices are designed to be a cash grab. Some are better because they are open-source so you can program them to your liking.
Others are a ton of problems but that is what happens when you buy cheap vs. premium.
Does our Jailbroken Apple TV 4K come with a free Apple TV Plus? Of course, and all the other paid subscription applications. You buy nothing on the device, everything is free.

Can you Jailbreak Apple TV?
The hard way of Jailbreaking an Apple TV
Yes, you can Jailbreak Apple TV in 2024. It’s going to depend on the Apple TV's software system and what Apple TV you are using. Some Apple TVs have the USB-type C plug on the back of the device and the newer ones don’t.
It’s easier for you to sideload the Apple TV with the USB-type C plug rather than the Apple TV without the USB-type C plug. But it can be done with both Apple TVs. The way we Jailbreak Apple TVs is based on the software system, it must be tvOS 15 and up. Software before that, you will need a MacBook to use Xcode.
Then on top of that, you will need to find Signuare and IPAs to use to write the files onto the Apple TV. You are sideloading the Apple TVs not jailbreaking it. Using the computer to sign the IPAs on the device makes it easier. Yes, you can use Windows and Linus to do this as well, more of that is below.
This way your Apple TV is still under warranty with Apple INC.
I almost forgot there is a $100 developer fee you must pay to Apple INC to keep the IPAs on the device for one year. No, this is not how we sideload but again everyone does this differently. With the developer’s fee to Apple, you will have to re-sideload the Apple TV every 7 days. But the good news is, that you know it will work.

How Jailbreak Apple TV?

This is not a step-by-step guide in any way. This is just some of the information I see online that could work for you. In the end, I will give you two options on how we can help you jailbreak your Apple TV.
These are ways to try for free. Please remember, if it works and then stops working after 7 days, you need to pay Apple’s developer fee of $100. But towards the end, we are going to give you a better option.
The first to try to use the AltStore which is super popular. You will need a computer to use the AltStore. Then you have ReProvision which you don’t need a computer for. Have I tried this before?
Yes, only the AltStore for my iPad but I never could get it to work. I never figured out why it didn’t work. Again that was me, not everyone will get the same result because it depends on the software system your devices are running.
Below, I added a few more ways people are loading Apple TVs. Again, I’m not too sure what will work for what box and which software system. There is Scarlet and Signum, I suggest reading their sites to see how they work.
Then there is Appdb with Sideloadly, you will need to have an Apple developer account with a subscription to Appdb. I have never tried Appdb because I just never got around to it. From the information on the site, you do need a computer from what I see. A YouTuber who promotes the Appdb site says you can do it without a plug for the Apple TV. I think he made a video for it.
Its a lot you have to do and sign up for now just to load your Apple TV 4K. Back in 2016, all you needed was the Signuare app to sign the IPAs onto the device through Xcode. But you did need the Apple developer’s account for it to work for 1 year.
