Why shouldn’t I Jailbreak my own Nvidia Shield Pro?
You are more than welcome to learn to jailbreak your own Nvidia Shield Pro. But here are my tips you may want to know. Don’t load the Nvidia Shield Pro if it’s running Android 11. Android 11 is the worst software system I’ve ever seen for the Nvidia Shield Pro hands down.
You will want to flash the system and downgrade it to Android 9 version 8.2.1. I can see the look on your face now, it’s like wtf. Yes, the first tip is the craziest but the best tip I can give you. Android 11 has a block on some of the best APKs out on the market for the Nvidia Shield Pro.
On top of the issues Android 11 brings to Kodi and Plex, they can’t even be explained in written form. It’s really bad, look up on Reddit and you will see all the problems with an out-of-the-box brand-new Nvidia Shield Pro running Android 11. This is why we always flash the system, now when flashing you sometimes may have to do this once or twice. We do it three times for good luck, then we load our Elite System.
For you, flash the system and downgrade to Android 9 version 8.2.1. Block the update to Android 11, this way it will stop popping up on your screen. Then you want to uninstall the update to the Android TV Home, this is where the ads on the Home Screen come from. Don’t forget to go into your Google Play Store and stop automatic updates. You want to freeze the device in time and use it for streaming paid TV entertainment for free. You don’t need the device to upgrade and you don’t need the other apps upgrading either.
It’s the APKs you want to upgrade but it will let you know when you need to through the app themselves. When looking for APKs, we have our own system we load onto the device. But look for good third-party app stores, and use Virustotal to make sure the APKs are safe. When looking to get an APK don’t go with Ad-Free, they don’t update. So once it stops working it just won’t work anymore. Get the original and get an Adblocker. The original APKs are the only ones that update themselves.

The only one not ad-free is YouTube Music, yes, we are being as forward as possible. But the YouTube Music was still fun to use. The more we learn about it, we will be able to block ads one day.
