Let’s get right into it. Happy New Year and on January 7th Gap The Series returns with the second half of Season 1. I think I saw a rumor for a Season 2. (Update: There will be no Season 2.)
Let us talk about Gap for a minute. It’s based on the Thai Yuri Novel: Pink Theory GAP written by Chao Planoy you can buy the Novel in English on Mebmarket for $17.65 USD.
People are going crazy looking for this book in English. Unfortunately, it’s not the physical book it’s in PDF or Epub format.
Why are people going crazy over the Idol Factory Version of Gap The Series?
Well, apart from the amazing and funny storyline of Lady Sam and Mon. The two ladies who play the characters #FreenBeck have been rumored to have been dating for the last 8 months. Becky Armstrong who plays Mon and Freen Sarocha who plays Lady Sam have amazing chemistry and are very close in their personal life.

You can only imagine how many fan videos I went through to get information about the Actress themselves just to write this blog. I did come across a video of Becky Armstrong telling her coming out story I guess it was.
Freen has a similar video but it’s more of just loving people for who they are I think she was saying. Translating Thai is not easy. Either way, these ladies kill it. They are beautiful on-screen together and I can’t wait for a Season 2.
I’m crying inside, the last EP 12 of Season 1, is on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 for Gap the Series, #FreenBeck. The start time is 11 am EST if you are based in New York City like we are here at Devices (D3vicx). I can say everyone in this office is obsessed with Gap the Series.

The Plot
This Plot is the hottest thing on Tv right now. Both Ladies Freen and Becky do an amazing job as Lady Sam and Mon. You are going to fall in love and find yourself watching it over and over again. Which is great for them when it comes to ads. If you watch it Live on Channel 3 from Thailand as I do, parts are missing that you can only see on Idol Factory YouTube Channel.
Lady Sam and Mon
Let’s dive into why this show is so good. I haven’t read the book yet to compare. When I first started to watch I was a little confused. I thought Sam was a Pop Star, I didn’t notice she was Royalty in Thailand. Mon and Yuki head out for a concert and you noticed Mon is daydreaming about Lady Sam in a Red outfit. Lady Sam pulls her on stage and dances with her a little until a kiss almost happens. Mon wakes up from the daydream, she is on stage but not with Lady Sam.
From here you notice Mon daydreams a lot about Lady Sam. The concert is taking place where Lady Sam's company is located. I gather this is why Mon was so excited to go in the first place. Mon met Lady Sam at school 13 years ago, I’m not going to give away too much of the plot but since that first meeting, Mon has been clearly in love with Lady Sam.

Should You Download for your Collection?

Yes, I think you should. Watching Gap the Series is like watching an Anime come to life. It’s funny and sweet all at once. You get to go on the ride of falling in Love but this time as an Adult and not someone in High School. Thank you for that Gap the Series. It’s great to see a story based on grown people and not High School kids.
This one I will be downloading this one so I can watch it over and over again without the ads all the time. But also, just in case they take it down from YouTube. It would be great if they end up doing a digital release for this and give more behind-the-scenes footage.
I’m telling you the Fanclub of #FreenBeck would eat that up. They love to analyze everything about Freen and Becky. It’s so entertaining

In Conclusion
Yes, you need a device to download Gap the Series to your collection. Keep it forever and then you can compare other shows to this one. We are looking at you, The L Word: Generation Q, which is 100% terrible. Sorry, it’s the truth.
#FreenBeck and the rest of the cast of Gap the Series killed this show in the best way. Everyone worldwide is calling for a Season 2. If this ends like I think it may without Nita really being apart, that could set up for a Season 2. Then throwing out that Rule Lady Sam has about employees dating.
It could be around their wedding as well. It’s just so many ways this show can go on. The book did just end in a Happy simple way. Thank the Gods you can rewrite Tv Series.
