Where to Watch Respect
I’m so excited to be writing this blog about where to watch Respect the biopic of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin played by Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer Hudson was born to play this part hands down other than Lizzo. I’m not sure if Lizzo has acting skills but her talent is a clear mix of Ms. Aretha Franklin and Beyonce.
Back to the reason for this blog, I remember as a little kid I would hear this amazing song “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, it always came from the TV, a commercial of a woman putting on socketing. I only watch this commercial because I loved hearing that song never knew who sung it but I thought it was the greatest. I think this is the first song I remember hearing once memory starts in us as children now that I think about it.
Over the years I would hear Aretha Franklin Hits everywhere, from movies, commercials, and just setting in the cafe. Ms. Aretha Franklin is the first successful Black Woman to bring Gospel & Soul to the forefront in a time where blacks are looked at less than human. Now I hear that she is not the niceness lady in the world but I wouldn’t have time for bullshit if I was her either.
Bring this biopic to the forefront will show her struggles and the struggles all women really go through to be successful. Aretha Franklin’s talent and determination could not be denied. And on Friday, August 13th, 2021 hopefully you will have your Jailbroken Fully Loaded Device ready to watch her story, “Respect.” Long Live the Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin.
