Where to Watch UFC 276: Adesanya vs Cannonier
Hey, what is good? Happy 4th of July weekend America. I’m only going to talk about three fights on this card below. The Main Championship fight that bought us all here, the Co-Main Championship fight, and the fight that will start off the card. Where to watch UFC 276: Adesanya vs Cannonier this Saturday, July 2nd at 10 pm EST? Keep reading we will let you know.
Fight Card:
Middleweight Title Bout: (C) Israel Adesanya vs Jared Cannonier
This is an interesting one and can go two ways. Adesanya can go out and really put it on Cannonier and get him out of there very fast. Or Adesanya can play around with Cannonier and get knocked out.
I watched the fight with Cannonier vs Whittaker and he froze up. He wasn’t the Jared Cannonier knocking guys out left and right. Cannonier is not light on his feet which is a bad mix-up when fighting someone like Adesanya. Adesanya moves a lot and backs up a lot pulling you into his fight. Clearly, I have no clue how Cannonier can win this.
My pick to win is Jared Cannonier, say it’s a feeling. We will have to wait and see. I love Israel Adesanya as a fighter all day but this may be his only loss in the UFC at Middleweight, we will see.
Featherweight Title Bout: (C) Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway
We are running this back, the Trilogy with these two guys. I watched the first fight, yes it went to Volk with the legs kicks even though no damage was done with them. I saw the second fight, which should have gone to Holloway. Volk didn’t win the second fight at all. So we are running this back to part 3.
Max Holloway needs to put in on Alexander Volkanovski as no other has before. Get in the pocket and pick him apart and mix in leg kicks with taking downs. I see have Volk trains which is crazy, so he is always ready for a surprise. It’s not about surprising him, it’s about points. You have to outpoint this guy, but if your boxing is on point, you can get him in his sweet spot and put him on his butt.
It’s just so many ways to see how this fight can go. I think the game plan should be the points game. I don’t think Volk is the best in the world but he is up there.
My pick is clearly Max Holloway, this is his last shot at that title with Volkanovski as champ.
Bantamweight Bout: #9 Pedro Munhoz vs #12 Sean O’Malley
I’m coming to see the “Suga Show” as always. I’m a big fan of this guy's fighting style, trash-talking, and just walking away. O’Malley likes to stay calm, pick his shots and then move in on you at an angle making sure you can’t clip him in the process. O'Malley thinks a lot when fighting and moving around. O’Malley needs to fatten up those legs though. That really is Sean O’Malley’s weakness, his chicken little legs.
Now when it comes to Pedro Munhoz, I have no clue who this guy even is. Ranked at #9 and not being known is not a good look for you.
Ok, I just looked him up, I’ve heard his name a lot before but he doesn’t really stand out in my mind. He is falling down the ranks from what I looked up, he was #4 now #9. Munhoz needs to bring it to O’Malley or he will be just a placeholder for these younger fighters.
My pick is Sean O’Malley, this is just my guy at Bantamweight. A future champ for sure.
