We are only going to talk about the two fights that were changed, the Main Event and Co-Main Event. Both fights are for vacant Titles, the Light Heavyweight Championship and the Heavyweight Championship.
For the vacant Light Heavyweight Championship, Jiri Prochzka vs. Alex Pereira
I have said this so many times already but I’m going to say it again. Pereira is an amazing fighter but he is not going to win this fight. I don’t see him trapping really but if it came to that, live to fight away day.
I think Pereira's jaw is weak after that knockout by Izzy. There is going to be a big target on his jaw this whole fight. On top of that, years of cutting all that weight just to fight is going to catch up with him in the end. It’s not natural to cut so much weight. It’s better if people fight at their natural weight. How tall you are can or may not play a factor depending on how you use it.
Jiri is sharp and different altogether, he sets traps but in a different way than Pereira. I hear about Jiri's mind game, hell if you sit long enough you can feel his spirit. Fighting is 80% mental and spiritual.
Love Jiri, he is my pick to win this fight. This may be the fight of the year.

For the Heavyweight Interim Title Sergei Pavlovich vs. Tom Aspinall
I have mix feelings about this fight. First, I normally never pull for a fighter at American Top Team, I think that gym sucks. A lot of there top fighters are on top before they get there and once in Miami with them that fall hard. I have no club why a winner like Sergei Pavlovich is there.
Tom Aspinall is ready and game. Aspinall will have the speed over Pavlovich but I’m not sure who will have the power. And sometimes the better angle helps as well. If Pavlovich charges in on Aspinall, there is a good chance of him getting knocked out by this kid. You charging in, all I would have to do is step a little to my strong side and hit you with everything I have, fight is over.
This is going to be a great fight for damn sure. It’s not going the full 5 rounds, I don’t even know if they had time to train for 5 rounds. If you didn’t have the time, get in there go to work as fast as you can and get out with a Title.
It’s hard to say, my pick is Tom Aspinall.
Now, if Sergi Pavlovich wasn’t apart of American Top Team, I would have picked him for damn sure.
