Who is the Best Phone Provider and Why?
D3vicx is coming up on One Full year of using this little company that’s piggybacking off of T-moble without the big company crazy prices. Mint Mobile has proven to be a game-changer in the price market of Cellphone service since Sprint is no longer around. Now here at D3vicx, we love to tell you about the best tech and the best deals on top of having the best Jailbroken Fully Loaded Devices in the World. Yes, in the World because they work anywhere in the world all you need is WiFi and maybe a Universe Adapter.
Phone Plans and saving money, I went from Sprint, who I loved until they were bought out by T-mobile (Not a Fan). After having Sprint for over 10 years, I had to start looking for a new cell phone provider. Now at first, I was like yes Google Fi Plan I’ve been talking about it for a year now because you can use it anywhere in the world in 200 countries. Some of the problems that turned me away from Google Fi was with Sprint I had 50 GB of Hotspot and Unlimited everything for $55 a month with taxes. Google Fi couldn’t match that deal, their Unlimited is like $60 plus tax but you can use it anywhere in the world easily (Not tested by D3vicx). Now they just change that plan to $70 a month to use anywhere in the world. Why increase your price if you’re the better option than your compares when traveling Google Fi, a bad move.
Google Fi is the best option if you travel all the time outside the US, hands down no other phone company can offer what they offer covering 200 countries worldwide. Now in the US only, Sprint was the best for everything giving you more for your buck just like Time Warner Cable did at one point before being bought out by Spectrum. Now moving in is the little third-party companies like Mint Mobile. Now Mint Mobile is tied to T-Mobile just not the high cost of T-Mobile, I paid $395 with tax for 1 year upfront for Unlimited Data with Mint Mobile giving me every 3 months $90. I bought my own Unlocked Samsung Note to use with their service. I started testing Mint Moblie with their intro plan at $90 for 3 months to start. I must say it’s nice to not have to think about a phone bill. I save $8.25 a week in an account to cover my yearly bill.
My only drawback to using a smaller company is dealing with spam calls from when I visited Virginia. Virginia has the biggest Military Base in the US so a lot of spam comes from there. I had this problem with Sprint as well until they came up with a Caller ID. But still, the Caller ID only told you if they think someone is a Spam Caller. Now every big phone provider has a problem with spam calls and calls from China (Summer of 2017 iPhones Only). Do I know a way to stop the spam calls, not yet because I haven’t really looked into it much? But I will be adding to this blog once I find out. If I get spam calls I can easily block them right away with my phone. No need to go into the settling and do all that mess as an iPhone would have to. If you don’t know the number don’t answer, they can leave a message so I say.
If you are not a big fan of paying a big monthly cellphone bill Mint Moblie may be for you. By using the link we provide you get money off your first month which is great. It’s hard to find coupons for Mint Moblie trust me I’ve tried. I missed out on the deal of buying 3 months and getting 3 months free because I was testing out Google Fi at the time. Now I was not happy with Google Fi at all, I was test out their lowest money option which was a mess. I use a lot of data a month around 43 GB and up. You start to pay 10 dollars for every GB after 10 GB so the bill added up quickly. I was better off with the $60 a month with Unlimited everything (Now $70 a month). The point for Google Fi was because we travel all over the world and needed to be able to use our phones anywhere in the world without hassle.
Like now we are heading up to Canada to see if the phones work or will we need Google Fi only when traveling outside the US. For all the people that are in the US and plan on staying in the US, try Mint Moblie for a month or so. They have picked up where Sprint left off with a great Family Plan deal starting at $15 a month. My plan is for one phone line with Unlimited Data for One Whole Year at $395 with tax. Before I forget, when they send you your sim card you will have two more free sim cards in there for someone else to try for a week. Just make sure your phone is compatible with the service.
