Here we are in 2024 and the information online about how to Jailbreak an Apple TV is 6 to 8 years outdated. If it’s so outdated, why is it still up? That is a great question. People keep recycling this useless information for clicks or to rank high on Google for SEO.
Right now, it’s a ton of other sites that beat us out for the phrase Jailbroken Apple TV. Yet, they don’t tell you how to jailbreak your Apple TV nor do they even sell a Jailbroken Apple TV you can buy. I really couldn’t tell you what they did. When I was reading the information I was totally confused.
I will be very clear. We no longer teach how to Jailbreak an Apple TV in 2024 for two reasons. Number one reason, is we don’t need APPLE coming after us bullying us to shut down like other sites, and next it takes too long to load if you are new to loading. We here alone at D3vicx take about 4 to 6 hours to load just 1 Apple TV 4K. With loading Three completely different Kodi Builds comes a lot of waiting.
We had a Video Class: Jailbreak Apple TV but it confused too many people so we had to take it out of the shop. We most likely will update the classes to load the three Kodi Builds but the prices will reflect how fast you get the result.

Why is it so hard to Jailbreak an Apple TV in 2024?
I want to be very clear this is my own opinion of what could be happening. I’m not too sure but from some stuff that I read over the years would make sense. Say you, a tech person find a way to sideload IPAs onto the Apple TV. IPAs are iOS Appstore Packages. You are so excited, that you post it all over the internet.
You pay out of your own pocket for the website and other stuff to keep it going. You are also putting in a ton of your life’s time. People are thankful which is great, you are making no money from it because it’s free. One day you get a letter from a lawyer letting you know, you need to stop your app and website that sideloads onto Apple products. What just happened, you are thinking?
You are now on the grounds of modifying a software system that doesn’t belong to you. If you didn’t create it, you are now under copyright law. Now other companies like NVIDIA could care less, they make their money in computing and GPUs.
A company like APPLE cares, they make their money by keeping people in the APPLE’s ecosystem. You are giving people a way to sideload for free. This is why we don’t share what it is we do or how we do it.
For every so-called Jailbreak, I’ve seen online that was here and working not that long ago is gone. The sites are still up, the IPAs are still there, and the information is all still there but nothing works. I went onto Reddit and noticed this same problem, nothing works. Information online on how to Jailbreak Apple TV is 6 to 8 years old.
Yet, random sites are writing about Jailbroken Apple TVs. When they don’t sell them nor do they have a Jailbreak for them. I’m still confused about that one.
The next problem I ran into was all the models with the same names. It’s two Apple TVs 3rd generation, I was very confused. The difference is sometimes the remote control and the year they came out. Why not just name the Apple TVs like you do an iPhone, call it iTV, and add a number to it? Or just use the year the Apple TV came out, something like Apple TV 4K 2022.

Jailbroken Apple TV 4K for Sale
I’m not aware of what others do, I can only focus on our devices. We give only three options for Jailbroken Devices, which still may be too many if you ask me. The Jailbroken Apple TV 4K was a must for a ton of Apple fanboys. Stop buying the Apple TV first, then going to look at how to jailbreak it. Have a plan on how you want to jailbreak the device and then go get it.
We have our own system called the Elite System. Which is a customized launcher that hosts the 40 IPAs on the Jailbroken Apple TV 4K giving you access to paid TV entertainment for free. On the Apple TV, you can see all the IPAs we use to give you access to paid TV entertainment. From there is going to be based on the builds we use in Kodi.
The only drawback is that all the Live International channels are starting to disappear from the Kodi builds. This has been going on for a few months now. No one here watches Live TV channels so we do try our best to keep up with it.
The Jailbroken Apple TV 4K is amazing for Live Sports channels, Sports events, Pay-Per-Views, Instant Replays, Movies, TV Series, Anime, and Music. One build does have a great arcade section. You do have local USA, UK, Canada, and Australian channels but outside of English, the channels are going away pretty fast. This could have something to do with Redbox but that is another blog.
It’s an amazing device, it’s just that the IPAs are very limited when it comes to Jailbreaking an Apple TV. It’s a lot more IPAs now than it was back in 2020 when we started this up again. It’s best to just get one through our shop that’s already done up for you. From there you just plug in and play.

Jailbroken Device Detected or Jailbroken Notification for Apple TV
When I search about the worries of having a Jailbroken Apple TV 4K in April of 2024, these are the first two things that pop up. Jailbroken device detected and Jailbroken notification. This may be true if the device was really Jailbroken. We call it Jailbroken, but no one is Jailbreaking devices in 2024 anymore.
Everything we do is called sideloading. We are putting IPAs and APKs onto the devices by just putting them on or in the Apple TV case signing them on. None of what we do will void the warranty on your Apple TV 4K. If there is a problem with the device, just factory reset the Apple TV before sending it to Apple for a replacement.
From there if you need the Apple TV reloaded with our Elite System just order Device Care Insurance, which covers a reload for your device. Yes, we got the name from Apple Care. Device Care is covered for 2 years, so you can send your device in for a reload if anything goes wrong or if you just want the latest update.
At this point in time, we are loading three Kodi builds onto the Jailbroken Apple TV 4Ks.

Worry Jailbroken Apple TV Not Working
If you bought a Jailbroken Apple TV and it’s not working you need to contact the company you got it from as soon as possible. Don’t wait, I say this because we had a glitch last summer and we reached out to everyone who bought a Jailbroken Apple TV 4K to inform them of this.
It only affected 2 people but still, we had them send in the device to be fixed at no extra charge to them. We posted the issues everywhere, on our Discord and in all our Newsletters.
Now, everyone is not us and again it only affected 2 people. It was the tvOS update to 17 that caused a little glitch but it was easily fixed by resetting the device and just reloading it. But always have a way to get in touch with tech support from whom you order the device from.
If you do the jailbreak yourself, factory reset the Apple TV and just reload it again is all I can tell you. If you do use Xcode, do be aware you have to reload the Apple TV 4K every 7 days. But if you pay Apple’s $100 developers fee you are good for the year.
