No Fire devices are on our list. Amazon is coming up with its own software system to block sideloading. They have already started by blocking Launcher Manager and AdGuard. Stay away from cheaply made devices like Fire devices, Onn boxes, and Google TVs. With those devices, the software system is too powerful for those cheaply put-together devices.
When you buy cheap, you pay twice, sometimes three times until you start to buy for quality. Just save up and buy the quality to save yourself money and headaches.

What are the Best Streaming Devices in 2024?
I will say from what I read on the Reddit post and comment they did get right that the Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation is one of the top streaming devices in 2024 hands down.
Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 vs Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation 2022, these are your top two streaming devices in 2024. These devices are high quality in their physical build, parts, and software system. They both can easily be sideloaded as well in 2024. You need to know these important factors when buying a streaming device.
Let's start with the builds, the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 is a little smaller than the first two Shields but it still has some weight on it. I do recommend getting a stand or bracket for this device. Check on Etsy for 3D-printed Nvidia Shield Pro stands.
The Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation is smaller and lighter than the 2nd Generation from 2020. They took out vents that helped the device cool down faster. They also took away the thunderbolt port, which takes away the ability to sideload through Xcode.
When it comes to the parts I want to focus on the processors. The Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 is running the NVIDIA® Tegra® X1+ processor. This is the most powerful processor at the moment. The Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen is running the A15 Bionic chip. When this Apple TV came out the iPhones were A16 Bionic chip with 5-core GPU. Apple dropped the ball here and could have surpassed NVIDIA but they didn’t care or didn't know how.

OS software system vs Android software system
Software systems are where they pull apart completely. They are going to be based on which software system you like using the most. The tvOS system is part of the Apple’s ecosystem. It can be very limiting to what you can load onto the device. There is Plex on the Apple TV but you can not use the Apple TV as a Plex Server.
You need to know the file’s name when you are trying to sideload. You are looking for IPAs. What does IPA stand for? iOS AppStore Package, these are the third-party apps for Apple devices.
There is also a difference in the IPAs for iPhone and Apple TVs. Yes, you need to know the differences. You can check out Kodi.tv/download they have different IPAs for the iPhone and Apple TV is a great example. When sideloading you can do this a few ways.
One of the most popular ways is to use Xcode but the device needs a port to plug into the Apple TV. Another way to sideload without a cable to the Apple TV is by using the Altstore. Android software is no easier on the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019. I say this is the most powerful device you can own because we flashed the system and downgraded the device back to Android 9 version 8.2.1. Flashing the system you are gaining control back over the device to where we can load anything we want.
Android 11 blocks some of the best-sideloaded APKs. And there is a major glitch going on with the Plex Server and Kodi. No one needs these problems, so let’s stop them before they even start.
With a Nvidia Shield TV Pro running Android 9 version 8.2.1, you now have the most powerful device in the world, what do you want to do with it? First, go into settings and turn on Developer Options, and Turn off automatic update. Go into Apps -> Show All App -> System Update, and turn off notifications. This stops the pop up at the top telling you to update to Android 11.
Go into Developer Options and turn on Network Transfer. Then down to Animation and set it to .5x, don’t turn this off. It runs smoother at .5x. Come out of the Developers Option and go ahead and expand the storage with an SSD drive or NAS drive if you plan to use the Shield as a server.
Go back into the Developers Option continue to the bottom and look for Force Apps on External Storage, turn on. When loading APKs you want them running on the storage freeing up that space on the Nvidia Shield Pro. Stay in the setting and turn on AI Upscal.
You now have the most powerful device in your hands. Go to the Google Play Store and stop auto updates. Then go download X-plore. You now have so much control over the device you can start sideloading all you want.

The Nvidia Shield Pro, is it still worth getting in 2024?
From seeing what is on the market compared to what you can do to what you can do to the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 there is no alternative. The magical things you can do to an Nvidia Shield Pro will never be done again to other devices nor another Shield Pro.
I say get your hands on the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 before it’s too late. You think you want a new Nvidia Shield TV Pro but watch if you are going to get it, then everyone is going to rush to get the 2019 version.
The newer version of the Nvidia Shield Pro is going to be on Android 12 and up. I’m not finding too many people loving these versions of Android. People want these Android 11 and Android 12 off their devices. Don’t believe everything you are reading online by people who do this as a hobby.

Can I still use Hpyerspin on the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019?
Yes, when you flash the system and bring it back down to Android 9, you can now download Hyperspin and 200 GB of games onto the device. Say if Hyperspin does work, you can use RetroArch with that same 200 GB of games.
The creator picked out the games and it’s cool he is giving all that information away for free. Bandit is the creator and ArcadePunks is hosting both a torrent and NZB. The torrent is missing files use the NZB and follow the directions, it’s a lot of information so please read it all or have your computer read it all to you.

In Conclusion
There’s so much information online about the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 and that is great people are talking about it but unless they are a business they should keep some opinions to themself if they can help you get PHENOMENAL RESULTS.
I wouldn’t recommend the Apple TV 4K unless you plan to pay for every little thing on the device. If you want to Jailbreak it, order one from our shop that is already done for you. It’s not an easy thing to do and on top of that you will need to have a few Kodi codes.
I notice a lot of people want Live TV channels, the Apple TV is not the device you are looking to get if that is the case. The Live TV IPAs are limited to Kodi and if the Kodi build you use don’t have a great and big library it’s not going to happen. At the moment a lot of people’s Redbox for Kodi is down. And that one is a great place to get Live Sports Channels like Fight P*ss. Sorry, I don’t want any copyright issues with Live TV Channels.
