When it comes to Nvidia Shield Pro, we like to think we know a little something something about this popular streaming device. We have only been selling them online for the past three years. We are going to tell you the best place to pick one up from and who to stay away from.

When it comes to being on Sale, that’s a whole other problem. I have never seen the Nvidia Shield Pro for sale over the last 3 years. With that being said, I have myself received a discount on 1 from a website I’m going to be sharing with you below. The discount comes from something we all overlook when it comes to what makes us so individually special.

Buying an Nvidia Shield Pro?

My main question is where are we buying the Nvidia Shield Pro from?

There are only 2 places to get an Nvidia Shield Pro from, and that is Best Buy or Micro Center. Why? Best Buy is my number 1 tech place apart from Micro Center. And because I stay across the street from Best Buy makes it even better.

Best Buy is always run deals on devices and I notice people overlook them for Amazon. This is a terrible idea, we will get into that more down below. I receive discounts from Best Buy every time I buy a device and the best part is on your birthday you get a bigger discount to use on 1 order.

I’m not too sure if Micro Center offers the birthday discount but I do know they offer Free USB cards once a year. This is my other favorite tech store in The City. Micro Center normally has what Best Buy doesn’t and sometimes if it’s the same item, they may have it at a discount.

I love to check out both of these when it comes to buying any Nvidia Shield device on the market.

Where to not buy an Nvidia Shield Pro.

I’ve had clients send in an Nvidia Shield Pro they bought online and the device ended up being a fake. I was 100% surprised by this. How do you create a fake Nvidia Shield Pro? This was very impressive but the software on the device gave it away. Then I started to notice a problem I was having with the physical device not fixed into the Nvidia Shield Pro stand.

I’m like, ok I’m starting to notice more problems. The problems were small but you don't want to have a fake Nvidia Shield Pro. I’m telling you, “Don't buy this device off of Amazon.” This is where my client picked up the Nvidia Shield Pro from. The same goes for websites like eBay, Walmart, and Newegg. Don’t get any tech devices from these places brand new, they are fake.

eBay is good for pre-owned devices. And again with this, you can go to Best Buy and look at the Open Box options on that same item.

I bought 3 Mi Box S from Amazon back in 2020 and had to return them all. They were all fake, the software on the device wasn’t holding up. It kept restarting for no reason at all. Then the controller started to show signs it wasn't linked to the device. From there we dropped Mi Boxes from our shop.

I like to focus on high-end streaming devices. Best Buy and Micro Center are the only places I trust to pick up an Nvidia Shield Pro from.
