Where to Watch My Pack Life

If you love animals, you’ll want to know where to watch My Pack Life starring Lee Asher and his furry pack of friends. My Pack Life is a new show on discovery+ that follows the adventures of animal lover Lee on his beautiful 25-acre animal rescue sanctuary in Oregon. I started watching My Pack Life when it came on Animal Planet after the Puppy Bowl (another great show for animal lovers!).

Lee’s story is really inspiring and he has a fun-loving, gentle way with animals and so many cute dogs — over 20 now — and a growing list of adorable farm animals, including alpacas, donkeys, pigs, goats and more. Lee started rescuing dogs when he quit his 9 to 5 corporate job and decided to dedicate his life to animals. As someone who grew up being bullied, he always saw dogs as his friends and he treats them like his best friends on the show. When he quit his job, he got a van and traveled the country with rescue dogs, helping them get adopted and promoting dog rescue throughout the country.

Along the way Lee accumulated 22 rescue dogs that became his pack, and he started the Oregon sanctuary with his furry family. In the show he learns more about farm animals as he adds them to his growing family. The show follows along in his adventures as he rescues abandoned and neglected animals and also shows how he helps the animals feel comfortable and safe in their new home.

Lee’s farm is an animal’s dream, with 25 rolling acres of beautiful forests, pristine springs and rolling fields to frolick in. His dogs are a happy, frolicking bunch, enjoying the run of his house and the whole 25-acre property, with some space carved out for the farm animals to have their own pastures and barns as well.

I really love watching My Pack Life as it’s one of the most uplifting things I’ve seen on TV in the past few years and the furry characters are so entertaining and adorable. In a time where there is so much violence and negative things on TV, My Pack Life offers a nice breath of fresh Oregon air. Lee is living the dream many of us animal lovers would love to have — spending the days playing with and caring for furry friends and enjoying nature.

There are definitely challenges in operating a sancuary, from medical problems for the animals to rescue operations that take a lot of patience and planning. In one episode, Lee rescue Aries, a one-horned ram who is very skeptical of Lee and the farm. Over time, Lee wins him over with lots of praise and plenty of attention, and we see Aries flourish.

Lee also rehabilitates Sarge, an Great Dane who feels overhwhelmed when she arrives at the sanctuary but comes to feel at ease with the pack of friendly dogs and Lee’s attention. We see Sarge gain confidence and blossom from a giant, terrified dog into a chill canine playing in the fields with the other pooches. My Pack Life does a great job of showing how each animal has a unique personality and Lee focuses on spending time with each of them and showing them support and love.

My Pack Life keeps a light, fun spirit and sticks to Lee’s mission of showing “how cool and fun” rescue animals can be. The show is very inspiring for animal lovers and shows how love, attention and fresh air can help rescue animals transform from anxious and sometimes broken into happy and thriving.

It is also fun to see how the animals interact with each other, with the dogs forming different close friendships and many of the farm animals bonding — like the awkward llama letting his guard down to befriend the alpacas.
