I like Volkanovski and he has skills all day long and can walk you down, take you down and just beat you up. Jung is very old school UFC and he has something people are not ready for and it’s that uppercut that comes out of nowhere. You can’t see them, they just come and this guy has power as well to dope you. I know the odds are against me on this pick but I just know it in my bones I will hear, “And New Featherweight Champion “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung. I think this is something no one will see coming.

Bantamweight Championship: (C) Aljamain Sterling vs Petr Yan, everyone has been waiting on this rematch. I’m sorry Aljamain Sterling has skills but he clearly shouldn’t be Champion. I feel like he was over acting in their first meeting and has been running from Yan this whole time. I guess Sterling wanted to add some more skills to his style that could help in this rematch. Now, I don’t think Yan is just going to run through Sterling, we want to see the best of both guys. I like Yan a lot, he just has a style I prefer to see when fighting. I never saw Aljamain Sterling before his title shot, so I couldn’t compare them.

Welterweight Bout: Gilbert Burns vs Khamzat Chimaev, I think this is for a title shot. Crazy, Chimaev hasn’t fought a ranked guy yet because no one will fight him. Burns the number 2 guy in the world steps up and is like I’ll give this guy his first lost so I can get that rematch with Usman. At this point I’m not sure why people don’t want to fight Chimaev maybe due to his man handling of the guy from his last fight. Burns has ran through them all and yet has not fought Covington nor Gamebread and Leon. Funny I thought this was a pick them apart kind of thing. I think all should go through Covington if you want to fight Usman. But my pick is clearly Khamzat Chimaev, and it’s not the heap. Burns has had covid and hasn’t been the same.

Kelvin Gastelum vs Dricus Du Plessis, I see the other guy was replaced against Gastelum. Now back in the day Kelvin was great at putting the pressure on guys and hitting them with some hard shots. He has been winning and losing by decision the last couple of fights. I know nothing about Du Plessis, I saw he has hands and submissions this looks like a problem.

My pick is Dricus Du Plessis, I know I've never seen this guy before but stats don’t lie.

UFC 273 is a stacked card for sure. My picks are in and no I’m not betting as Drake did.
