How did I come about writing this blog?
Well, back in the Spring of 2020 we sent out a Jailbroken Google TV 4K to New Jersey and one of the workers for USPS stole the device. Luckily, we put full coverage insurance on all the devices we ship out. So it was an easy replacement.
What about the free Jailbroken Google TV 4K that the worker stole from the buyer?
Well, that worker wasn’t so lucky. We reported the device stolen through Google and the location was already turned on so it was easy to pinpoint where the device was.
The person who stole the device received a notice of the device being stolen and the device stopped working for that person. The problem for that worker was, that Google had already pinpointed their location once they plugged in the Jailbroken Google TV 4K.
We ship all our devices with our company Gmail account so we know the location of the device ASAP. Once we know the device is with its buyer, we then log off the device, giving the buyer 100% control over the device.
And no this doesn’t affect the device. Let’s go into more details below dealing with each Jailbroken Device we still have in the shop and the budget-friendly ones we once sold.

That is a loaded question but the answer is Yes & No! The reason for both answers is that not all streaming devices are equal.
Now for the Jailbroken Google TV 4K, I like this device the most. Once you log off the Google TV 4K, the device will automatically factory reset itself. It will just be a hot mess of a device to deal with because the person logged out of their Gmail account.
To load a Jailbroken Google TV 4K the right way you will need that person’s account information, or create a new Gmail account just for that device.
Logging into your Google account will not work because it wasn’t loaded with your Gmail account information attached to the Jailbroken Google TV 4K. This device is easy to locate through your Gmail account, so if it’s stolen report it to the police or disable the device through the account, it’s up to you.

Take the Jailbroken Firestick, the most popular device of them all. You can kick someone off of your account easily.
But if that person has an account themselves, they can log into their own on the Jailbroken Firestick. The load will still be on the Firestick.
How?
The Jailbroken Firestick itself was never touched, you just took yourself off the device you never erased the device through your Amazon account. From inside your Amazon Account online you can report the streaming device stolen which would disable the device. Making it not useable to the other person.
But again if you just kick them off your account the device is still loaded. It's not wiped clean. But it's good for the seller to stay signed in so you know the device goes to your buyer because it can be tracked just in case someone has sticky fingers.

Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro
This is the same with a Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro but better. I'm not sure about the earlier models but this new model is a yes.
Whoever controls the account on the device can do pretty much anything to the device from reporting it stolen to disable or just kicking you out and locking it up.
All these devices give you the buyer a lot of protection once you sign in to your accounts onto the device. Hopefully, this helped everyone out, I know it’s not a straightforward answer but Jailbreaking and Live Streaming are not all that straightforward either on Android devices.

Oh yes, we have the Jailbroken Apple TV 4K on this list as well. We all know how great Apple is at locking people out of their own products.
Let alone a stolen device could be even more of a nightmare for a thief. Apple is so great at location compared to Google.
With the Apple TV, I believe you can leave a message for the person with the device. Ask them to return it or mail it to you since it’s yours from the start. I do believe Apple does send information to the police if it has to go that far.
And no, a jailbroken Apple TV 4K is not anything different from any other Apple product.
Plus jailbroken is just a term for sideloading or fully loading IPAs onto the device. This is not like 10 years ago when you needed Cydia to load Kodi onto the device. It’s so much easier now to keep the security on the Apple TV 4K.
But even better news is, that you don’t need an Apple ID Account for the device to work. So once we do everything and then take our information off the Jailbroken Apple TV 4K you can use it as is.
The same goes for the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro. Once the device is loaded and we take our information off you can just use the load on the device. But with our accounts still attached, we can control the device.
